Considering Botox®?

Explore our most commonly asked questions to help you feel informed before your consultation.

If only we could make it last forever.

For most people, Botox lasts around 3 to 4 months before the muscle activity gradually returns. Everyone’s body is different, though, so some people find it lasts a little longer, and others notice it wearing off a bit sooner.

Patience is a virtue that will be rewarded.

Some people notice changes within a few days, but Botox isn’t an overnight treatment. Most clients see their full result around 10 to 14 days after treatment.

Not really, which is one of the reasons it’s so popular.

Most people head straight back to work, the shops or whatever chaos life has planned for them that day.

Nothing too dramatic.

We’ll go through all your aftercare with you, but generally you’ll want to avoid intense exercise, alcohol, rubbing the treated area and lying completely flat for the first 24 hours.

This is a bit like asking how much paint you’ll need before seeing the wall.

Everyone’s muscles are different. Some people need very little, while others need more to achieve the same result. We’ll assess everything during your consultation and recommend what’s right for you.

It’s probably one of the most researched aesthetic treatments available.

When carried out by a trained professional following proper protocols, Botox has an excellent safety profile and has been used worldwide for many years.

Actually, yes.

Many people choose Botox before lines become deeply etched into the skin. By reducing repetitive muscle movement, it can help slow down the formation of future wrinkles.

Botox isn’t suitable for everyone.

If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding or have certain medical conditions, we may recommend delaying treatment. Don’t worry though—we’ll go through everything properly during your consultation.

Most clients return every 3 to 4 months to maintain their results.

That being said, there’s no rule that says you have to. Some people come regularly, others prefer to space their treatments out.

Absolutely.

Think of Botox as one piece of the puzzle. It can work beautifully alongside fillers, skin boosters, microneedling and other treatments depending on your goals.

Usually around 15 to 30 minutes.

In fact, you’ll probably spend longer deciding what to watch on Netflix later that evening.

Of course.

Wrinkles don’t exactly check whether you’re male or female before showing up. More and more men are choosing Botox to look fresher and more rested without looking like they’ve had anything done.

There’s no magic number.

Some people start in their late twenties as a preventative treatment, while others don’t consider it until much later. The best time is whenever you feel it’s right for you.

It’s best to give your skin 24-48 hours to settle first.

After that, you can get back to your usual routine.

Nothing too complicated.

Try to arrive with clean skin, avoid alcohol beforehand if possible and come with any questions you may have. We love questions.

Not instantly, no.

The good news is that Botox isn’t permanent. If you decide it’s not for you, the effects will gradually wear off over time.

Dermal Fillers Explained

Clear answers to common questions about treatment areas, longevity, safety and aftercare.

Let’s be honest—it’s probably not the question you’re asking.

The real question is: “How much is this going to hurt?”

Thankfully, not much. We use numbing cream beforehand and most clients describe the treatment as uncomfortable rather than painful.

Absolutely.

In fact, that’s the goal.

The best filler treatments are usually the ones nobody notices. People might tell you that you look fresher, healthier or more confident without quite being able to work out why.

This is one of those questions that sounds simple but never really is.

The amount depends on the area being treated, your starting point and what you’re hoping to achieve. During your consultation we’ll recommend what’s suitable for you—not what fills a syringe.

Yes.

If hyaluronic acid filler needs adjusting or removing, it can usually be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase.

No.

Your body gradually breaks filler down over time, which is why maintenance treatments are needed if you’d like to keep your results.

It’s a word that gets thrown around a lot online.

While migration can happen, it’s much less common when filler is placed correctly and managed properly. That’s why choosing the right practitioner and the right product matters.

Yes—but remember, some of what you’re seeing straight away is swelling.

Your lips will continue to settle over the following days, and that’s when you’ll really start to see the final result.

Definitely.

As we get older, we naturally lose volume in certain areas of the face. Fillers can help restore some of that volume and create a softer, more refreshed appearance.

Some swelling, tenderness and bruising can happen.

Most of the time these settle within a few days, although everyone’s healing process is a little different.

Because your face isn’t a trend.

We believe aesthetic treatments should enhance what’s already there, not completely change it. Every treatment is tailored to you, your features and your goals, with natural-looking results always at the heart of what we do.

Understanding Exosomes

Learn how Exosome Therapy helps rejuvenate the skin, support repair and improve overall skin quality for a healthier, more radiant appearance.

Let’s start with the obvious question because “exosomes” sounds like something straight out of a sci-fi film.

Exosomes are tiny messengers that help cells communicate with one another. In aesthetics, they’re used to support the skin and scalp’s natural repair and rejuvenation processes.

Think of them as little delivery drivers carrying important messages between cells.

These signals can help support healing, regeneration and overall skin and scalp health, which is why exosomes have become such an exciting treatment in aesthetics.

The goal is healthier-looking skin and hair.

Exosome treatments may help improve skin quality, hydration, texture and overall radiance, while also supporting hair restoration treatments.

Exosomes are commonly used for skin rejuvenation, improving skin quality and supporting hair restoration treatments.

In short, they’re all about helping your skin and scalp perform at their best.

A very fair question.

We only use products from reputable manufacturers that meet strict quality standards. During your consultation we’ll discuss your medical history, suitability and answer any questions you may have before treatment.

The most common areas are the face, neck and scalp, but treatment can be tailored depending on your concerns and goals.

Usually around 45 to 60 minutes.

Enough time for a treatment, not enough time to finish scrolling through TikTok.

Very little.

You may experience some redness or sensitivity afterwards, especially if the treatment is combined with microneedling, but most clients return to normal activities quickly.

This isn’t one of those treatments where you wake up the next morning looking ten years younger.

Results develop gradually over time, with many clients noticing improvements over the following weeks as their skin continues to renew itself.

That depends on what we’re treating.

Some clients are happy after a single session, while others benefit from a course of treatments for the best possible outcome. We’ll create a plan tailored specifically to you.

That’s one of the main reasons people choose them.

Exosomes may help improve skin quality, texture and overall radiance, helping your skin look healthier and more refreshed.

Many clients choose exosome treatments as part of a hair restoration journey.

They may help support a healthier scalp environment and complement other hair restoration treatments.

They’re a bit like a good team.

Microneedling creates tiny channels within the skin, which may help improve the absorption of exosomes and enhance overall treatment results.

Most people find it very comfortable.

If microneedling is involved, we can use a numbing cream beforehand to make the treatment as comfortable as possible.

Results vary from person to person, but many clients continue to see improvements for several months after treatment.

Most healthy adults looking to improve skin quality or support hair restoration may be suitable candidates.

The best way to find out is through a consultation where we can discuss your goals and expectations.

Most side effects are mild and temporary.

Some redness, sensitivity or slight swelling can occur, but these usually settle quickly.

Nothing too stressful.

Arrive with clean skin if possible, stay hydrated and follow any advice we provide before your appointment.

For the first day or two, it’s best to avoid intense exercise, excessive heat, saunas and harsh skincare products.

Think of it as giving your skin a little time off to do its thing.

Absolutely.

Exosomes are often paired with treatments such as microneedling and other skin rejuvenation procedures to support overall results.

Both treatments focus on regeneration, but they work differently.

PRP uses growth factors from your own blood, while exosomes use specialised cell-signalling technology to support repair and rejuvenation.

Exosomes are naturally occurring messengers involved in cellular communication throughout the body.

In aesthetic treatments, carefully developed exosome products are used to support these regenerative processes.

Because new and exciting treatments should still come with honest advice.

We’ll always take the time to explain your options, answer your questions and recommend treatments based on what’s genuinely right for you—not what’s trending on social media this week.

Your PRP Questions, Answered

Learn how Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) uses your body's own growth factors to support natural skin rejuvenation and tissue repair.

PRP is one of those treatments that’s been around for years but still sounds a little mysterious.

It uses a concentrated part of your own blood to support the body’s natural healing and regeneration processes.

PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma.

Thankfully, most people just call it PRP because that’s a lot easier to remember.

A small sample of your blood is taken and processed to separate the platelet-rich plasma.

These platelets contain growth factors that can help support healing, regeneration and tissue repair.

One of the biggest attractions of PRP is that it uses your body’s own natural resources.

It’s commonly used to support skin rejuvenation, improve overall skin quality and assist with hair restoration treatments.

PRP is often used for skin rejuvenation, hair restoration and improving the appearance of concerns such as acne scarring.

Many clients choose PRP as part of a hair restoration plan.

While results vary from person to person, PRP may help support healthier, thicker-looking hair growth in suitable candidates.

Yes.

PRP is often used to improve overall skin texture, tone and radiance by encouraging the skin’s natural renewal processes.

Very simply.

A small blood sample is taken, much like a routine blood test. It’s then processed to separate the platelet-rich plasma before treatment.

Because PRP comes from your own blood, the risk of allergic reaction is extremely low.

That’s one of the reasons many people are drawn to it.

Let’s call it what it is.

It’s probably not something you’d choose to do for fun on a Saturday afternoon, but most clients find it very manageable. We can also use numbing cream where appropriate to improve comfort.

Usually around 45 to 60 minutes from start to finish.

Most of that time is spent preparing the PRP itself.

Not much.

You may experience some redness, swelling or tenderness afterwards, but most clients are back to their normal routine very quickly.

PRP rewards patience.

Results develop gradually over the following weeks and months as your body responds to the treatment.

A course of treatments is often recommended for the best results.

We’ll discuss a treatment plan during your consultation based on your individual goals.

Everyone responds differently, but many clients choose occasional maintenance treatments to help maintain their results.

Most healthy adults looking for a natural approach to skin rejuvenation or hair restoration may be suitable candidates.

We’ll always assess suitability before treatment.

The most common side effects are mild and temporary.

You may experience some redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising, but these typically settle within a few days.

We’ll go through all your aftercare with you, but generally you’ll want to avoid intense exercise, alcohol, excessive heat and certain skincare products for a short period afterwards.

Yes, and it’s actually one of the most popular combinations.

Microneedling and PRP work very well together and are often used to support overall skin rejuvenation.

PRP uses growth factors taken from your own blood.

Exosomes use specialised cell-signalling technology.

Both aim to support regeneration, but they do so in different ways.

It doesn’t get much more natural than using your own blood.

That’s one of the biggest reasons many people choose PRP over other treatment options.

PRP is often combined with microneedling and may help improve the appearance of certain types of acne scarring over time.

Because regenerative treatments aren’t just about the treatment itself—it’s about having the right plan.
